On the heals of bringing Boston to its knees two weeks ago, I was able to get my hands on a Mooninite. Does this look like a bomb to you?
If they used Sony batteries to run it, then yes…
Boston to its knees? What are you reading Fox News that described Boston as a ‘City Gripped by Fear’? If anything, it mildly inconvenced anyone using two lines on the subway and on I-93 for about six hours.
There is a lot more to this story than you, the Digg bloggers, or most of the media realized. When the facts are viewed in a more balanced way (the discovery of fake pipe bombs that same day, bomb threats were made at a hospital, etc). These facts don’t fully exonerate anyone involved, as clearly communication, or a lack thereof, was the primary factor leading to the scare. But frankly, I grow tired of this whole thing and the LULZing hipsters who seem unable to take anything seriously or be bothered to research.
The whole thing was a ridiculous situation and is more of an example of how our culture has become fear-mongering than it is about gross-incompetence. The whole situation is funny only because of the outcome, and it is a damn shame people can’t be bothered with the facts, or with the idea of seriously discussing the events in a way that good can actually come of it.
Are you surprised they were tweaked? It was Boston!
Kind of reinforce something one of the police here in my home city said a few months back. They have been told to see any one not wearing a badge as a potenchel Terrorist.

How do you make one ? Lite brite is 10$ but no where near as bright and big as this. Give me instructions please :D
