WordPress users - You want the Flexible Upload plugin

Posted in Cool, Tech by Derek at 1:00 pm

Earlier today I chanced upon a recommended WordPress plugin thanks to a tip from a friend. I must say, I am impressed. The Flexible Upload plugin adds just enough extra flexibility to the WordPress image uploader that the features should be built-in by default.

The screenshot is a little on the unreadable side, but the plugin provides users with options to resize before uploading, specifying a thumbnail size, and an option watermark option using a pre-made custom GIF file dropped into the plugin directory. Rather than having to open an image editor, WordPress users can spend more time blogging rather than worrying about their image uploads.

  1. One additional feature I’d like is the ability to upload multiple images at once.
