Some of the laws here are absurd for them able to be used in such a way that the person is both the defendant and plaintiff. The logic was probably "to teach her a lesson" (note the quotes), and "to scare out the bad guy." This goes on the notion that people that young don't know any better. But these days [younger] people do, and they have different ideas. Not to go on a rant, but the woman I was about to date, sees that even if you are almost in a relationship, you can freely mess around with other people.

Judge Philip Padovano dissented. He wrote that the law "was designed to protect children from abuse by others, but it was used in this case to punish a child for her own mistake. In my view, the application of this criminal statute to the conduct at issue violates the child's right to privacy under Article 1, Section 23 of the Florida Constitution."

I agree that it is odd that how the police found out was left out, though the simplest explanation is usually the most correct, and not NSA involvement....

What get me is that they didn't say how the pictures came to end up in the hand of the authority's in the first place. Was it a case were the parents were nose and was in to there kids mail. (witch should have been passworded any way).

Or was it a case of the ISP and NSA crape that has been being pulled the last few years that basic say we at the NSA and So have the right to stick or nose in any of you privacy any time we like.

 George Carlin once said.

As far as I'm concerned, all of this airport security--the cameras, the questions, the screenings, the searches--is just one more way of reducing your liberty and reminding you that they can fuck with you anytime they want. Because that's the way Americans are now. They're willing to trade away a little of their freedom in exchange for the feeling---the illusion---of security.

Well for the most part the same can be said for phones, the net ,email, cells or even just talking to a friend in your own home. The only place you are really safe to say any thing any more is in you own mind.

Lest till they force every one to get chip so they can hear what your thinking. And then they will be locking people up for thinking freely.

China imprisons people because of what they write on their Blogs, Russia assassinates journalists, Venezuela is becoming a defacto dictatorship and YOU are upset about an absurd judgment by a LOWER court. Thank god she has the right to APPEAL in america.
