I mean, there are good guns cheaper, but not by large amounts, and $734 is probably MSRP (I got my ~$720 MSRP beretta for $580). You most likely don't want to pay less than $4-500 or so. You can pay thousands for a good M1911 .45, an extremely popular type/model of handgun. Of course I'm only talking about semi-automatics, I've never bothered with revolvers, but I'm pretty sure they come cheaper. $734 isn’t a whole lot for a good handgun.
