This was a fun read! Here's a couple of thoughts from a guy who loves Apple products but also uses Windows based computers at home and at work. At the office, we are in a mixed PC/Mac environment. Our IT guy is a Windows type but even he admits that the vast majority of his day is spent dealing with Windows/PC issues. Cross-platform data transfer is seamless and Macs tend to run themselves. At home, I use a Mac but also keep a Windows based computer on hand to compare video on our website (www.ngtv.com) on both platforms. Never has the difference between a Windows based product and a Mac based product been more clear than my two recent purchases. I upgraded to an Intel MacBook (the black one) roughly a month after I purchased a new Windows Vista laptop from DELL. As far as the price goes, the DELL laptop actually cost a little over a hundred dollars more once I added enough memory to make the thing more functional. They also get you on sound card upgrades, which I fell for. DELL threw in a free upgrade to Vista Premium. Here's the key: Macs just work. Better. Faster. More intuitive. I was up and running on my new Mac in less that five minutes. Even with only the resident 1GB of memory my Mac boots in 30 seconds. Then there was the DELL laptop. Top of the line. Upgraded memory. Upgraded sound card. Vista Premium. The process of starting up the laptop and getting it running: 2 hours. Why? The system makes you go through the entire start-up process for Windows Vista Basic and then repeat the entire process again for the upgrade to Premium. That is, if the product code included on the Vista Premium box actually worked. It didn't. I had to go online (on my Mac) to find an 800 number to call. It took the woman THREE tries with three different codes to give me one that would permit the upgrade. Once that was done, no sound. Yep, somehow DELL sent out the laptop with no audio drivers. I had to call their tech support (which, by the way, was excellent) and spend 30 minutes on the phone with them (and via ethernet) to get an appropriate driver installed. Once all that was done, my machine was up and running. I couldn't wait for that WOW experience the Vista ads promised. WOW became YAWN when I realized that all the pretty features shown in the ads were useless window dressing. Even more annoying, the "gadgets" (a cheap rip-off of Macs superior "widgets" feature, minus the desktop-friendly Dashboard) take up desktop space and are a pain to customize. If Microsoft wants to copy at least they could improve upon the thing they are ripping off. The other annoying things about Windows computers (even the fast ones) is the interminable wait for the system to boot. I went in and stripped out all the useless programs that come loaded into every PC (another waste of time) and it is still a good 5 minutes for the DELL to boot up, go through all the start-up programs, anti-virus utilities and Vista permission pop-ups (which drive me CRAZY) before it is to the point where it can search for and eventually connect to my wireless network. WHEW!!! Turn on the Mac, online and playing iTunes in 30 seconds. Turn on the PC, you haven't seen the desktop yet. I'm sorry but I will take my Mac any day of the week with a side by side like this. BTW...Apple did not permit Windows to run on their Intel computers because it was a better operating system. They did it to make the switch to Mac easier for some people. Many consumers are willing to make the switch but they were also on the hook for tons of Windows-based software programs that would have been rendered useless. The ability to run Windows on a Mac means the elimination of a major road block for consumers. That's called smart business...eliminating consumer objections. Funny, a few years back I used to scoff at Apple users. Then I bought my first iPod. Then a video iPod. Then an iMac. Then Apple TV. Then iPhone and a new MacBook. Needless to say, I'm not scoffing anymore. I have several friends and family members who are going through very similar experiences. Sorry guys, but I think Apple may be onto something here.

1.Mac user is childish : veryTRUE, like you are
2.Mac is more expensive on software : TRUE. honestly if you want all softwares installed on ma PC to be on ur mac, you'll have to pay big bucks. I pay absolutely $0. you'll be crying if I list them,so better not
3.PC does more thing than MAC :TRUE. its obvious why more ppl using PC rather than Mac, I bet military & government r more likely to use PC
4.Piracy and windows world are one : VERY VERY VERY TRUE,open your eyes kid, its everywhere, i bet u use MP3 as well, its pirated you know?? if you put every little piracy case into justice, then everyone in this world will be in Jail, including you
5. You cant Help Andrew find his softwares : VERY true, thats why PC does more thing than Mac, at least does thing in easier and cheaper way than mac.

If you seriously want the flaming to stop, then stop your YAPPING of nonsenses about all Mac, Linux and Your beloved Windows. Its very simple, you stop it, naturally I will stop.

And if you do stop, i would advice you to think twice before deciding to post unreliable things online in future. If you do, be prepared to provide informations and evidence on them. Forgetting the sources is not an excuse. If the Article you mentioned do exist, i am sure they had their a$$ covered by some concrete evidence. For you, you don't.

Just in case you were wonderin why i consistently refusing to give you the source, the reasons are very simple:I do not support piracy and the most impt of all i am covering my a$$. My country's government is very efficient when comes to stopping piracy and i do not want to get involved in unecessary situations.

Andrew my boy, Like i said... .. Prove it, Do not just give me that u read from some unknown articles. As you said it, you THINK its possible, do not post it in forums like as though its the absolute truth. Guess you just do not get it do you? I am helping u here. Posting things like what you did for many posts can spell your doom. If you still do not get what i am trying to tell you, Ask you friends/parents around.

AND do not say to me to stop flaming, i am trying to end this flaming shit long time ago for i already see i am not getting anything from you either. You are the one who is trying to save yourself from embarassment , and continue to crap more from your a$$. Raph even step in to stop you, but nooooo. ... you continued on... ...

PS. i do not believe your story about a magazine talking Bill Gates using piracy, the fact is because BIll Gates will sue the magazine company's Pants off for that. If you still do not get it, let me give you an example of stating things with reliable backings: Michael Moore. Watch his movie, he accuse President Bush of hell alot things, But with EVIDENCE. And he did not make any assumptions , he leave it open ended for the viewers to make their own judgement. You can learn a thing or two from him.

I would advise you to take some Economics/Business/Accounting courses before you made such an unresponsible remarks about Bill Gates using Piracy for Marketing. I do not like Bill Gates, but i would not allow someone like you to insult another human being like that. If you having trouble in finding an explanation for huge market share. Let me give one reason: VOLUME Licensing... ... Linux does not practice piracy, FOR YOUR INFORMATION.. .. Linux practice FREEWARES and OPEN-SOURCES.

If you cannot find any evidence abt piracy marketing strategy, forget about it. This is just to tell you something, your deeds are acts of a small boy who does not know the consquences of his/her own actions.

And please, do not give me more lies just to save yourself from embarassment. Like i said... ... Sssshhhhhh... ...

Please .. .. Fanboy.. .. Wake up from your World... ... Everyone Including you knows who is the Hot-Headed one. Come one, read your OWN posts, lol... ... why should i get pissed at your little friend(which i doubt he even exist).. .. The fact still remains, I know of a one stop place with all programs(including Macs and Windows) and you don't... ... There is no need for me to prove anything(which you have been trying so hard for the past few posts and failed miserably), cause at the end of the day You are the one who is in denial... ... ask my mama to buy a PC for me? hahah.. ... she is bugging me to buy a Mac for her... ...

And please, using piracy is not disgracing. Its the FANATIC-ism in you that is disgracing. There are two kinds of Mac and Windows Users. The pratical ones and the blind Fanatics. I am the practical one and you are different from me.

Oh , by the way.. .. No proof and action? Well, you can start off by proofing your posts to me. i wont ask much , just give me the evidence about your Microsoft using Piracy as their Marketing strategy bull crap. Lol... .. Raph is not disgracing himself, he is trying to save you from disgrace. And please do not say that Mac users cannot live without Windows, have you heard of CROSSOVER? I doubt so. Stop been in denial and following blindly without a mind of your own. I am not in denial, i keep myself update with Windows, Mac, Linux. In all my posts, i did not for once said that Mac rulez. I will jump the wallgon if i starting to see some other OS is giving better services. So you tell me, who is the small little boy who bash some other OSes just because he can't find Pirated softwares for it.

Lastly, GROW UP... Not physically, MENTALLY. OMG, i really cannot believe someone like you actually exist.
