Local cops in Alabama warn travelers to avoid using the coffee pots in hotel rooms, because drug dealers use the pots as mini meth labs.

Drug enforcement agent Rick Phillips went on to say “The coffee makers that you find in every motel room is an ideal heat source. [The dealers] mix it up in the coffee pot, put it on a heat source and let it sit there and cook.” He was also careful to point out that if you were to drink coffee from a pot used to make meth, it could be hazardous to your health. Thank goodness he pointed that out!

Hmmmmmm, I thought my last cup of coffee when I was traveling tasted funny!
