Sweden to setup Embassy in virtual world Second Life
It was only a few days ago that I discovered the growing virtual world where individuals congregated and mingled online – a virtual world created through a service known as Second Life. For lack of better words, I recommend that readers personally explore Second Life (website) in order to get a better idea off what the service is all about.
Apparently, the idea of maintaining a virtual presence online is a growing trend as Sweden plans on creating the first virtual “diplomatic representation” in the virtual world.
Who says “games” are for kids? Is anyone exploring or loosing countless hours thanks to Second Life?

I downloaded it the other day, and decided it was thoroughly boring. Also annoyed me that you had to give a credit card number even if you don’t want to pay.
i agree,
terribly dull, nothing exciting… and i felt like it was a glorified chat room.
second life
although its nice as an idea, u have to give a lot of stuff to test it out, plus the 3d world looks really dull next to 3d games today…
the company doesnt know how to market the product…am surpirsed that others are finding it interesting enough…is there any similar(better) service?
Second Life in 2005 – 2007 = AOL 1995 – 1997 … Nuff Said
“Find us at AOL Keyword ‘Sweden’ or ‘Shitty Game’ ” ;)
you don’t have to give credit info if you don’t want to…I just set up an account (i keep hearing about this darn thing, but this article finally made me get an account) ….the game’s downloading now…i wonder what it’s going to be like…
@ Masta
It’s kinda like WoW… but with shittier graphics and none of the fun or adventure…
