Yahoo is More Popular than Sex
WHA?! Google’s own trending indicates that over the course of the past year the search term “Yahoo” became more popular than “sex”, making it the #1 query on Google.
Yahoo also is facing the same problem with the term “Google” taking the top search spot on their engine. However, it seems that Yahoo is not playing fairly.

However when you search for Google, you are greeted with a second search bar, seemingly diluting the results (as illustrated below):

Hmmmmmmmmm. Is that fair? What do you think of “Yahoo” replacing “Sex” as the most searched term on Google?

Who on earth searches for a search engine he/she obviously already knows on another search engine?

I think that’s absolutely fair. Let them put two search boxes on their pages, who cares ;)
My step dad refuses to type URLs into the location bar. Instead he goes to msn.com (his homepage) and searches for it.
