I am a Verizonwireless customer. Yes the Iphone is nice but what exactly the the Iphone have that a Verizon phone can’t benefit you? I had to really breakdown in what I wanted in a phone. With my phone I have a keyboard for texting, a navigation system, live tv & mp3 player & a carrier with in store technicians so I’m happy.

As a Verizon customer, I’m not too happy about this. I prefer Verizon’s network, but I will still be switching to Cingular in June.

Denny Strigl (COO) touches on this article & the decision. Nothing much new that isn’t in the article, except to confirm it & say that this is one instance where he is happy Verizon is NOT the first to market w/ this device.

Still, Verizon is foolish for turning down the iPhone… Apple has been cranking out nothing but homeruns lately.. If I were Sprint I’d be on the phone with Apple right away.
