Don’t miss a single bit of earwax

LED Earwax pixk

Have a wee bit of earwax buried deep within that ear canal of yours? We all know that the inside of our ears is a little on the dark side. Fortunately, Korean earwax picking tools are accompanied with an LED light for making that dark ear canal a little brighter. Does anyone see how useless something like this is considering there is no one who can see inside their ear canal. [via]

Um, sorry to ruin the party, but it’s also highly unsafe to go picking around in the ear canal. Q-tips actually state that they are not to be used to clean the ear canal so that they can dodge any lawsuits from injury.

Finally… I’ll be able to see into my own ear……………

When I go to the doctor to get my ears flushed out theyve got this little blower that blows warm water into my ear with a lot of pressure and completely flushes it out. It’s simply amazing =)

I’m no doctor but… I don’t think it’s something very good for your health to put pressure in your ear =/

if you don’t wanna go to the doctor and you often have ear wax build up in your ear, you can go to a pharmacy and get one of those mineral drops for your ear. after that, all you have to do is flush it with warm water and it cost a lot less than going to the doctors.

Um — it’s not that uncommon for one’s spouse to be willing to clean one’s ear now and then. In which case the light might help them to avoid puncturing your eardrum.

when I was on the swim team back in the day we’d pour alcohol (rubbing, not drinking) into our ears to dry out and prevent swimmers ear… when you ended up getting swimmers ear you’d pour alcohol first, then peroxide, then slcohol, then peroxide… seemed to do the trick and also seems to loosen up some of the ole’ ear wax… I’d suggest it and still do it from time to time

I know it sounds weird but getting your ear “wax” cleaned out by someone else with one of these little spoons is actually quite soothing. I put wax in quotations because most asian people i know have ear wax that’s more crusty/powdery than wet and waxy. But yeah, you probably won’t find anyone willing to scoop out your ear wax unless they’re from asia.
