Windows Vista Serviced Packed in Less Then Six Months
Microsoft who pushed the often delayed Vista out the door has been rumored to be preparing a service pack to be released in the second half of 2007. This service pack will not only solve known problems that were shipped in the RTM, but also add features that should have been included in the OS when it shipped (Windows PowerShell for example). This also leaves the fabled SP3 for Windows XP in limbo.
IT personnel and decision makers have already adopted a wait and see approach to Vista due to its very demanding hardware requirements and compatibility issues and with news of a service pack so soon will only slow down adoption.
