An anonymous part time “seasonal” Apple employee wants to give us mere mortals a peek behind Steve Jobs mystical retail curtain.

He has created a web site dedicated to answering the burning backstage details of Apple stores. So if you have a question, pop over to his site and ask it. I’m sure he will fill you in into all the lurid details, well before Apple figures out his identity and sues him.

    That’s an awesome photo.

    This might just be me, but the guys who work at my local Apple Store are so gross and when you walk into the store it sort of has an overall filthy feel to it, compared to a year ago.

    I must say, though, any girl that works at an Apple Store is automatically extremely attractive.

    I’m sorry, but I’ve worked in retail and no matter what crap you’re peddaling from a store front to hungry consumers its all the same… I don’t understand the glory of being underpaid for your time selling a product you like for a company that considers you a peon in their ranks with absolutely little to no opportunity for advancement.

    maybe I’m just crazy though… so far the apple store seems a lot like working at the gap but instead of saying “how do you like your jeans to fit” you say “well how do you plan to use this computer?”… not to mention trying to explain to someone why their child probably shouldn’t beat on keyboards with hot wheels…

  6. Don Wilson says:

    Definitely agree with you Chad, and Apple’s refund policy is completely insane (10% restocking fee). If Dell or HP required this, I assure you it would be a main talking point amongst mac superfans.

    @Chad

    Ok now I feel better that I don’t work there haha =D

    Mike, that’s a damn big server in that photo. Must be the new Xserver RAID. It supposedly has HUGE amounts of storage.

    As predicted Apple legal MUST have hit!

  13. ClaMs says:

    What was so ‘illegal’ about it? Was the fact that they have safes in offices so top secret? :S

  14. Cindy says:

    I am scheduled for the “group interview” for a new Apple store opening. Anyone been to one of these? Suggestions?
