Thermal cam images of your standard Apple MacBook

An interesting view of your standard Apple MacBook using a thermal camera. Identify hotspots and know where not to place your skin after extensive use. We all know notebook computers generate heat, now we know specifically where the heat is.

In the spirit of the article, I’ve added a thermal image of me holding an iPod. It surely is one HOT device.

photo booth “thermal” imaging is not REAL thermal imaging, it just colors the picture based on lightness and darkness… i’m guessing you knew that and you were joking riiiiight?

I was smelling the iPod to see if anything was cooking inside before I took the photo. I guess it warmed my nose up. :)
