Has Meebo begun to show some of the signs of the dreaded 2000 tech bubble? They are a company that has no plans on how to make a profit, and that is dead set on giving all its services away for free?

inject ads at the start of every convo… if an IM window is opened and a message is sent… the first one message on both ends appears directly below the plugged ad in the window… like the option on AIM Triton…
they have a full windowing enviorment as well… sell the background space with ads, all kinds of stuff… I’m sure they’ll pull it off, they have a great service
$13m+ for a service that is easily beatable and provides absolutely zero profit back. This is completely insane.
