Facebook Now Allows any Mobile User to Access Facebook Mobile

Perviously restricted to just Cingular users, Facebook has opened up the availability for any cellular user to access Facebook mobile at m.facebook.com. The mobile site makes the news feed, pokes, messages, status updates, profiles, photos and messages fit beautifully on the small screen. For those of you who are into the social web scene this will be a breath of fresh air.

I have a strange problem where I can’t actually log in to Facebook from my mobile (I could on my old phone – same SIM). I get to the login site and enter my account details but it just flashes with the login screen again. Any ideas? It’s not my username/password as I can login fine on the computer using those details.

ok so i went sent my pic to photos@facebook.com and waited for a confirmation code but for whatever reason it never sent one and instaed sent my pics to my friends page and he doesnt even have facebook mobile nor has he ever typed in a confirmation code. HELP!!!!!!

I had this similar problem. It could be that your cell phone is using a wap proxy through your service provider. You need to reconfigure your phone to use a direct internet connection. These settings are similar to when you teether your phone to your laptop and use the phone as a modem.
I cant seem to log on m.facebook.com,i tried logging on but it says that i have to log in first but which website do i have to log in first
i have been able to use mobile facebook frm my cell without ny problems until today.i enter my e-mail n password n a ‘confirm’ window pops up asking me if i want to continue.i press ‘ok’ but it keeps reappearing endlessly.i cant login.plz help.thnx.
I Am Having The Exact Problem, I Am On A Wap Protocol Phone But I Could Always Login Without Incident Until This Month. I Had This Problem On The First Week Of November Then After About Five Hundred Login Attempts It Let Me In. But Now I’m Stuck Again, And I’ve Been Trying For A Week But Still Nothing.
I’m having the same stupid problem…i’ve tried numerous times, and i’ve gave up.
It must be some sort of setting on the website. i used to use facebook on my phone all the time, before they created an area to go to with your cellphone browser…but since about november i haven’t been able to log in.

When I try login to facebook on my cellphone, the site gives the following error report: ‘request exceeded maximum number of redirects’. What can I do to get past this? Please help!

Somewhere below the login button (that I know doesn’t work worth anything and just looks like it does nothing.. been there, done that..), there’s a “Doesn’t work? Try http login” or something.. click it.. use it.. works.
Why up still to this day can not login to face book on my mobile i sign up with an different account an same an all i see is the same problem is the site doing anything about it

I have the same problem as everyone else it seems where i used to be able to access facebook on my motorola but then all of a sudden i can’t!! i can access it on my old phone but now i get to login and i get a message fetch redirected url. I have cleared and reset cookies and cache. please help!!!

I’m having the same problem as everyone and I’m on Vodacom,SA. Does anybody have an idea 4 what 2 do in this regard? I need access 2 facebook they’ve blocked it at work. Please help anybody.

To everyone else having this problem you need to disable the proxy server settings. On a sony ericsson do this as follows:
Go to ‘Settings’ then go to the ‘Connectivity’ tab scroll down to ‘Internet Settings’ then go to ‘Internet Profiles’.
Highlight the profile you are using then press ‘More’ and select ‘Settings’. Scroll down to ‘Use Proxy’ and change this to ‘No’.
Now when you try to log into Facebook Mobile it will still ask for your user name and password but now it will accept it rather than take you back to the log on screen again and again and again and again and again and again and again.
I cant find the mobile sign in page and i cant access my account on my phone.
