Asimo runs circles around Aibo

Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto! Honda’s latest incarnation of Asimo was literally running circles around any competition at is US trade show debut. This little guy just scampered around the stage with scary fluid like motion proving how far robotics have come in the last few years. Video of Asimo operating after the jump.

It seems that he’s speed walking more than actually running.
I wish they had one of those at Macworld

@James: He is speed walking the definition of run includes a stipulation that both feet leave the ground at once. That would DEFINATELY be interesting to see a robot with that kind of balance would be amazing

Show’s Qrio throwing a ball, roller skating, running and hopping.. Asimo, try and keep up Qrio was doing this last year!
Its a shame that Sony “close” the development of Qrio & Aibo but I’ve been assured that all the AI developed will be added to other Sony products (whatever that means!)
