Brown colored clothing is banned in school

Darren Sawyer was given a choice at the beginning of school yesterday: Change out of his brown clothes or go home.
Brown clothing was recently banned at the Molloy Alternative High School, where Sawyer is a sophomore. The ban came about from the emergence of the Brown Mafia, a new teenage gang in Lowell whose members wear the color brown, school officials said.
The offending outfit: “chocolate Aeropostale hooded sweatshirt and American Eagle T-shirt”. Oooh. Officials should be shaking in their boots anticipating next Fall’s clothing catalogue.
I’ve got two brown-colored hollister shirts, is that bad? =P
Now the gang will switch to a color not banned. 2 years from now they will probably have every color banned…
Does that include the UPS guy?
Give it a year thay will have school Uniforms buy 2010 thay will all have to be Injected with RFID chips

Here in Australia, most public and private schools, including highschools (students up to about age 18) have uniforms. All for the purpose of making strangers more easily identified when entering school grounds.
I dont mind the idea of a uniform for that purpose, and also, it puts less stress on students to live up to fashion expectations at school. As I’m sure many of you know that that can get expensive.
I despised the dress code at my school. The skirts were nice though ;)
That reminds me, how or why did the tie come about? To cover buttons? To look stupid?
