[a letter to YouTube from Me (Chad)]

Dear YouTube;

What have you done?

I hear things are going well… $1.6 billion from a company leading internet technology, I’m so proud. However it seems like we are growing apart. I don’t know why you’ve changed since you started hanging out with that Google character, but lord knows you have… I fear for the worst.

It seems as if you have stopped returning my calls (videos won’t load) or you seem sluggish and without initiative to play with me (you’ve gotten slower … a lot slower… a lot of the time). We used to have so much fun together. We would hang out for hours sometimes even hooked up to a big screen TV with a room full of crony’s laughing at small asian boys singing back street boys, or people falling down… ahh those were the days.

Now however you’ve grown up and moved into the business world, hanging out with the ABC’s and CBS’s of the world. We used to have Steven Colbert over to visit all the time, or John Stewart, even those trouble makers from South Park as well. They wouldn’t visit long, usually only a couple of minutes… but it was real *quality* time. I understand that you have to be careful hanging out with them now days because they are running with the “Big Dogs” much like yourself… so I have come to accept this. But I refuse to accept your degrading quality of service so I must bid you Adieu. Sure if a friend points me in your direction I will happily wave and think about the times we used to have, or maybe I’ll sit there for 5 minutes waiting for the rest of the page (beyond the header bar) to load so I can watch a 13 second clip of a cat falling off a dresser, but you won’t be seeing me as much.

I have made some new friends recently, http://livevideo.com/ being one of them, he is a good time, and enjoyable to hang out with very fast and witty. MySpace video has also matured, who would have thought, that little wanna-be would end up coming out so handsome. Anyways, I must get going, IsmellRubber84 just posted a new video of him doing donuts in a parking lot on lunch trays and he really wants me to watch it.
