Oh Canada is watching you
This post was published 3 years 2 months 11 days ago which may make its actuality or expire date not be valid anymore. This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding.Probably the last country that I assumed would adopt and implement such security measures, the US Department of Defense (DoD) discovered that Canadian coins with embedded RFID chips were recently discovered. The RFID tags could be used to track individuals who may have the coins hidden away in their pockets.
They say money talks, and a new report suggests Canadian currency is indeed chatting, at least electronically, on behalf of shadowy spies. Canadian coins containing tiny transmitters have mysteriously turned up in the pockets of at least three American contractors who visited Canada, says a branch of the U.S. Department of Defence. A U.S. security report says Canadian coins with tiny transmitters have turned up, and could be used to track defence industry personnel. Security experts believe the miniature devices could be used to track the movements of defence industry personnel dealing in sensitive military technology.
Time to put your tinfoil hat and RFID blocking wallet to good use. Maybe RFID sweeps aren’t too much to ask for before guests enter a household after all?
That is Loonie!!
one more reason for me to hate this giant state
until they purchase a donut and walk out of the shop leaving the coin in the till.
Damn good someone is watching…
Ha, as a Canadian I have to say this is TOTAL BS story
