Amazing that Google Earth has gone through four revisions in the few years that it has been available for public use. I remember the first version which was released for the public. The OS X community cried foul! How could Google release a slick application allowing users to virtually tour the world without letting Mac users in on the action? I remember the day we helped users get a hold of the OS X version back in December of 2005.

Well, Google has released version 4 of its Google Earth software. Adding features such as improved 3D tours, local information & trip planning, the addition of rich content, and the ability to share travels with others (friends & family). The free version of the software continues to mature and increase – feature-wise. Download your copy of Google Earth for free. I guarantee that you will most likely waste away your time globe-trotting.
