Apple silently updates Airport Extreme Base station

Apple silently released their Aiport Extreme Base station (Mac or PC) which now supports 802.11 a/b/g & n. Retailing for $179, the unit provides four ethernet ports and a USB port for wireless printer or hardrive sharing. Easy network storage? I think so. Perfect timing for the announced February release date for the Apple TV.

UPDATE: If you’re thinking about purchasing one of these units, make use of the educational discount – assuming you’re a “student” – which knocks $20 off the price.
