You know what I dropped today? The archaically slow PowerPC application for syncing BlackBerry’s – PocketMac. Why did I do that? Mark/Space is making OS X users who just so happen to use a RIM device of some type fall in love with their handset all over again.

Supporting the following devices: 7100 Series, 7290, 7250, 7520, 7130 Series, 8700 Series, 8707 Series, 8703 Series (YES!), 8705, and 8100 Series (aka The Pearl), BlackBerry OS X users will surely find solace for their syncing woes. You can sign up for The Missing Sync for BlackBerry [via] announcements from Mark/Space.

What can BlackBerry users sync with The Missing Sync for BlackBerry?

  • Sync Address Book contacts
  • Managed tasks and calendar events with iCal
  • Mark/Space Notebook for keeping random or important notes synced
  • Limited support for moving images from iPhoto to devices
  • Pearl users will enjoy support for music transfers with iTunes
  • Support for syncing using Chronos SOHO Organizer, Microsfot Entourage 2004, Market Circle Daylite, and many more which use Sync Service

Previous owners of Missing Sync for Palm or Windows Mobile are eligible for discounts. Retail price on the utility will be $39.95.
