I've actually never enjoying working with iWork either. I've only used Pages which is okay I suppose, but not ideal for writing reports as you may know. Would a spreadsheet software be the only thing missing from their office suite?

I'm a hardcore converted Apple fan and mac user, but i've never been able to get myself to use pages or keynote. The inspector feature apple puts out is just too confusing to work with and takes up too much space. I've been sticking with MS Office for a while now and i hate that i'm still using it, but, until Apple steps up to the plate and makes their office apps easier to use, i'll be staying with MS Office

I am a pretty hardcore Excel user. This thing looks like FisherPrice's version of Excel for Mac. I am a Mac diehard and this things doesn't even clock a blip on my radar.
Rather than making a consumer grade Spreadsheet app, they should leave this app's develop to Apple's "Pro" teams, the guys behind Aperture, FCP and al.
This is like a bad joke.
Excel and other spreadsheets have had conditional formatting since Excel 97, and possibly since Excel 95. Give ma a break.
Spreadsheets are not like Image editors where you can get away with low-grade features like "red-eye correction" and "send via e-mail". They are tools to be used by professionals which expect professional tools.
