From seeing what happened with SACD and DVD-Audio, I'm a bit weary of what a hybrid player will do to both formats. Will it cause the stubborn Blu ray camp to finally see the light and for one format to win out over the other? or Will they both continue to be produced, eventually being pushed back to the far back corner of the electronics store (SACD) and only become used by audio/videophiles willing to put up with the high disc prices, high prices for decent players and all the company politics.
