Palm Announces the Treo 750

Today Palm and Cingular jointly announced the US launch of the Treo 750. It will utilize Cingulars 3G/UMTS network, which will give this antenaless wonder quite some bandwidth to play with.
The Treo 750 is the third Palm device in the US to sport Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system. Besides the internal antenna, the 750 sports a innovative soft-touch finish which feels wonderful in your hand, and sculpted like the 680 to fit comfortably in the hand. The 750 also features the Treo’s well known QWERTY keyboard (Which I argue is the best in the industry), a 1.3-megapixel camera, a 240×240 touch screen and support for Bluetooth stereo headsets. User accessible memory weighs in at 60MB but a miniSD slot is built in supporting cards up to 2GB in size.
The newest and most welcome feature is the devices ability is simultaneous use of voice and dataon the UMTS network, meaning while you are on a call you can send and receive emails or surf the web. Cingular will not be charging extra when the device accesses the UMTS network, as long as a smartphone data plan is on your account.

- 1-year Commitment: $574.99 ($474.99 after MIR)
- 2-year Commitment: $499.99 ($399.99 after MIR)
