It’s not a Ski, and its not an inline skate, but is sure looks like fun for people who enjoy the snow (Give me a beach ANYDAY!). The Skateslider is a set of miniature skis that connect directly to any pair of inline skates, well you have to take the wheels off first. The manufacturer claims that movements used with the Skatesliders is almost identical to inline skating.
And for the snow bunnies its good to know that the bottoms of the Skatesliders never need waxing and won’t requite you strapping it to the top of your car to go anywhere.
The Skatesliders conversion kit is available from Pro-Idee for $70.
I like it, but the word “skate” doesn’t seem to fit in a name of a snow-related product, lol, but I guess it works.
am I the only one that thinks that it takes away from your product if the promotional photo is green-screened and photo-shopped? I mean, if they won’t even try out their product….
maybe they couldn’t create real looking snow for the photo so green-screen is they could do? lmao
this idea has been around a while http://www.skiboards.com/ though ski boards are considerably larger.. probably easier to control too
Worth noting that it is much easier to “ski” with stubbies like the skiboards than their full-size counterparts.
