The internet is littered with good abandoned code, and being a Mac user I remember so many good little games that helped me just kill time on my pre-OSX machine. But as time passed, and technology evolved the floppies (YIKES) that contained these games just wore out or were lost.

Enter Abandonware! Abandonware is commercial software that has been discontinued by the publisher and are not sold or supported anymore, and avid collectors have preserved the code of these titles and moved it online for everyone to download.

Now if you have an Intel Mac you will need an MacOS classic emulator and ROM to take advantage of “The Macintosh Garden’s” 819 preserved games.
