Such products are not required to be labeled as such meaning that that next steak, burger, or glass of milk could very well have come from a cloned animal without you ever knowing.
A long-awaited study by US scientists has concluded that meat and milk from cloned animals and their offspring are safe to eat and drink and should be allowed to enter the food supply without any special labeling.
The finding is a strong signal that the Food and Drug Administration will endorse the use of cloning technology for cattle, goats, and pigs when it publishes a key safety assessment intended to clear the way for formal approval of the products
Mmm good. Do you care if the products you consume are labeled as being manufactured from cloned animals?
Well, as long as it’s food and it’s edible, I don’t have anything against that!
clone more of that angus meat!
They clone animals for consumption so they are very uniform. All the steaks will taste the same and it means fewer undesirable animals that the farmers need to deal with.
no thats just creepy.. im a strong believer in eating meat… but serisouly thats just something you should tell people if they do it and its labled cloned or not.. then i will eat the real meat.. but its not something i would want to eat.. it jsut creeps me out i would go vegetarian … cuz its pretty much the same thing but the vegetarian stuff is better for you
that was a rant.. sorry if you read it … i cut my self short on it to haha… any ways i would go veggie if that happened
But cloned meat has no parallel with goin’ Veg. By all rights and accounts it’s as much meat and tastes exactly the same as the same old beef, it just wasn’t conceived. Personally, the idea of animals doing it then me eating them, that’s gross and creepy.
