I couldn’t resist the Austin Power reference. The wired hybrid USB optical mouse from Kokuyo Co (Give you one guess what country they are based in) can be used as a laser pointer also. With three buttons and convenient scroll wheel the mouse is compatible with OS Windows 98/Me/2000/XP and Mac OS 9/X (and Linux too!!!). The laser point is activated by pushing the laser button placed behind the scroll button.

Available for $38.

    These are commonplace, for quite some time. My uni have been using then for some time. Not this brand though.
