The Wii console comes with a wiimote and a nunchuck, so if you want 4 total players, you need to purchase 3 extra sets at $60 (3 x Nunchuk) + $120 (3 x Wiimote) = $180. (The ability to store Miis in the remote's memory suggests that Nintendo is hoping people will bring their remote over to a friend's house for team play. Wishful thinking on Nintendo's part, I suspect.) I haven't seen anything too compelling on the Wii yet for 4 players. Two, definitely, but not 4. Maybe when Super Smash Bros comes out...
