After a few months hiatus macTV, the premiere website for Apple and iPod related videos around, is back online. Now happily housed on UNEASYservers, macTV ushers in the next step for UNEASYsilence with some more regular video content.

MacTV will be updated several times a week with scores of macTV Exclusives, we think you’ll be excited. Asif who was the previous owner and operator of the old macTV has joined the UNEASYteam to ensure that only top content is presented!

Get your clicking fingers ready and check out its new site (don’t worry, all old URL’s point to the new web address, and the connectivity is simply outstanding), pop some popcorn as we serve up, then next generation of macTV.

Visit the new website (http://mactv.uneasysilence.com) or you can subscribe to the feed.

  2. Rob D says:

Forget it…answered my own question…silly me

  3. Espen says:

Where has MacTV been anyways? Its been gone for so long…

  4. Dan says:

It is a site that meant a lot to me – I’m very nostalgic. When Asif wanted to bring it online, there was no question that I was going to do it.

  5. Jake says:

What’s the song in the video?

    Also, I loved MacTV

  6. Ben King says:

The song in the video is Hoppipolla by Sigur Rós. Not entirely christmassy, I know, but I HAD to get it in there. :D

  7. R031E5 says:

Yaay! my old MacTV feed is alive! …again!

    Thanks so much!

  8. Injecter says:

In the Vodcast, many Videos are there again with a new episode-number. So am I going to see all Videos in the list again, just to click them away, because I have ‘em already?

And is the seperate iPod-Dedicated-Feed gone?

??? AND yes, why was there NO news about what happened?

  9. Dan says:

This is just the launch of macTV, new features will be added as days go by. We have to re-encode all the assets – and there is no iPOd feed planned for the moment.

And Injector, there will be TONS of new stuff, again this is just launch material.

And this was the news :)

  10. Ryan says:

Look for a nice exclusive we’re bringing to you on December 19th. You’ll cream. ;)

  11. maijc says:

mmm… i complain about the lack of macmondays lat week, but now im happy; more apple, im going to cry… (call the WAAAAAAMBULANCEEEEEE…)

  12. Justin says:

Ooh! MacTV! but haha you got like 5 podcast feeds on iTMS all pointing to the same feed lol. It IS iPod compatible of course…right?

    I love Apple’s 2006 holiday commercial. I wish I made it =)

  13. Dan says:

Justin – the feed problem has been fixed (as of last night). As with all launches, there are always small kinks.

  14. Ben King says:

“and there is no iPod feed planned for the moment.”

Uh… you realise that there is ONLY an iPod feed at the moment, right? In case you forgot, the iPod supports 640×480 now.

  15. Dan says:

I should have said “iPod specific” Ben, whoops! We will be pushing a PDF every now and again, which is not iPod compliant.

  16. Ben King says:

    Yeah… the iPod ignores PDFs… you don’t need a seperate feed…

  17. Asif Alibhai says:

    Hi Guys,

Just to clear a few things up – the macTV Feed is iPod-ready. We’ll be removing the others from iTunes later on today.

There’s a lot of common questions answered on the macTV Launch Info page, which can be found at:
