Ha! If you've got Windows Live Hotmail, check out the site's icon in the title bar. I only just noticed it then. Basically, it's a grey background, and a white apple icon.
Is that really legal? There is no reason for Microsoft to use an apple icon, and they're in direct competition. I didn't know that Microsoft owned part of Apple. Interesting.

I keep hearing here that Microsoft keeps ripping off apple, but the point is Microsoft's own a bit of apple anyway, so they are more then able to.

The ads are provided by a third party vendor, that scans for keywords - There is no real hate for Microsoft on my end, I think they are a company who has run out of ideas. They need new fresh blood to surge through its once vibrant veins.

All of this Microsoft negativity, but yet in the Uneasy feed, there's an add for Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. Why hate Microsoft so much if you guys allow ads from them!?

Why cant people realize that companies buy packages of stock photos and clip art and they also sell their own. Just because one company used a picture, doesn't mean they own it, they created it.
Its even more plausible with the backgrounds, do you think they give someone a camera and say, go shoot some pretty pictures for us?

I think the new icon is better, in the sense of what it represents, because it was talking about purchasing copies for multiple systems. The apple icon had nothing to do with it.

Since the Apple page touts that this is all built on Open Source Software, are we 100% sure that the Icon in question isn't a freely available icon, perhaps borrowed by Apple as well?
