For anyone sitting on their hands patiently awaiting the arrival of a USB compatible Rev. A EVDO product from Sprint, rejoice knowing that the Ovation U720 (Novatel Wireless) USB Modem is now shipping. The USB modem ships for $249 – $150 instant rebate / $50 mail-in rebate.

Sprint Mobile Broadband devices that are EVDO Rev A will operate at average download speed ranges from 450-800 Kbps with peak rates up to 3.1 Mbps
