Starting with the NES, the tee shows the progression of Nintendo’s consoles and handhelds through the years, all the way down to the Wii and both versions of the DS. Our only question: Where’s Virtual Boy?

Come on you know you want it!

my guess is that vitural boy would be a cross over between snes, and the gameboy pocket, as it was the first “3-d” game console of sorts (oh man, does that thing give me a headache when i play it, (yes i have it, yes it still works)). Based on the controller design, and the idea that it was somewhat portable, i would put it after SNES, but connected to the Gameboy line.

If i get around to it, maybe ill photoshop it into there somewhere…IF i get around to it.

It would be funny if it said “Nintendo Family Trii”

  3. ClunkClunk says:

Virtual boy is the redheaded stepchild. It’s not mentioned at any family gatherings. Everyone just pretends it never existed.

  4. Don Wilson says:

The Virtual Boy is a branch off of the original gameboy.

  5. PVL says:

Still the best on that list has to be N64 IMO.

  6. dov says:

the GB mini came out the same time with DS, so it should be under the orig. Advance or something..

  7. ClaMs says:

Seriously, looking back, what world would it have been without Nintendo? I can’t imagine being a child again without my GB. The funny thing is I managed to finish Super Mario Land quite recently.

  8. Muzer says:

    You forgot the Gameboy light!

Japan only, after the pocket, the first backlit gameboy until the GBA SP

  9. Age says:

What about Game & Watch? :P

Especially the dual screen ones, surely of some significance.

Game and watch would go, I’d think, side by side with NES.

Virtual Boy (which I still have) would be somewhere off of the first GB. It’s monochrome and heavy as hell. Just like the first GB.
