Even though it was panned by critics, I still favor the BMW Z8. The styling reminds me of a vintage Ferrari (which are very nice as well). Then again, for true performance, a Porsche Turbo would suit me nicely.

I really like the Honda S2000 in the economical side, and Porsche Boxster in the pricey side.

the TT for sure, followed by the R32, then the Miata… ok, ok, just kidding on that last one…

Man I hate audis….you get so little car for the money. Oh, and that audi that ran me off the road and cost me $650 for two new tires >:o

I’ve got my eyes on an elise/exige. I’ve had 4 cars in the past year, so I’m determined to stick with the current conservative sports sedan for the next 5. after that….

S2000s are nice…I don’t generally like convertibles but it’s a good driving car. The new corvettes are extremely nice, they’re not “compact” yet, but they’re getting there. 350z is ok.

I still really can’t top my 6spd RX8 gt for the money. You have to learn to deal with the finicky rotary engine, and have to spend a fortune on oil and premium gas (which other sports cars take, but other sports cars can also get better mileage)….but the car is just a pleasure to drive. The tiny 1.3L engine lets it be perfectly balanced, and it has a wide and long wheelbase for stability. It’s a little bit too big to be purely “compact,” but it drives like one.

Boxster is also too little for the money, it performs about the same as the 350z/S2000…unless you go with the S model. My girlfriend’s dad has the Cayman S (boxster coupe) and it’s a thing of beauty.

Big money on all the cars you mentioned…

well I had one GTI once… my first car and I miss it
next year I’m planning to get a C30
Porsches are way out of my league

  7. Chris says:

I bought the new GTi and love it. Everyday. But it is also my 12th Volkswagen… New Scirocco is my next car. Audi has it, the new A6 is unreal, perfect car.

When will America ever make a great car?

  8. Viperguy says:

It might be just my ignorance… but this car looks like any other audi to me…

  9. dov says:
