Kim family mother and kids found

The mother and children were found in the Oregon wilderness. According to reports, James Kim had left the family in order to seek help after their vehicle ran out of gas.
Kati and the children are reportedly in “very good shape.” Carson helicopters, Randy Jones, and federal agencies had four ships in the air at all times, and were assisted by Edge Wireless’s cell-tower hit model which helped locate the Kims’ wireless signals. The search will continue with dogs, more choppers, and all possible resources 24×7. James is likely to have made it as far as 20 miles. They ran out of gas after running the car at night to stay warm; eventually the Kims burned tires at night.

And he didn’t have any gadgets on him that alerted the cNet HQ of his dismay? That’s hard to believe. Not a single phone with a GPS to tell athorities that they were safe, or that they ran out of gas! I call BS until I hear the FULL story.

@ I know some hi-tech guys who take VERY low-tech vacations. Don’t make assumptions where they dont belong.
Dylan, the GPS in their phone(s) is what tracked down Kim and her kids, I believe.
man, I get this sinking feeling in my stomach when I think about him out on foot….

agree’d, its like what if he would have just waited. idk bout you guys, but i try to put myself in that posistion, and have no idea what i would do.
Why did they burn the tires? They were stranded in a forest.

haha sooo true. I have doubts as to why they even got into this whole problem… why on earth were they so far from civilization? I think there’s another factor that we dont know about.
This is pretty sad, I hope the father gets home soon.
