Fotofox – Photo uploading reloaded
This post was published 3 years 3 months 13 days ago which may make its actuality or expire date not be valid anymore. This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding. Why is it that photo uploading utilities get so much attention on the net? The reason is that generally speaking, internet users love to share their files. Even more so, files which just so happen to be photographs.

What better way to upload photos than with a utility which integrates ever so nicely with our favorite browser – Firefox. The extension is called Fotofox and you can grab your own copy from Mozilla Updates. The browser extension allows users to upload images to any one of the following photo sharing services – 23, Flickr, Marela, SmugMug, and Tabblo.
Fotofox conveniently does its work in the sidebar of your browser without affecting the page that you are currently viewing. Additionally, the extension allows uploading via drag ‘n drop or by selecting an image online and uploading using the contextual menu item.
f’ing awesome… not a big uploader but I had an idea like this sometime ago but can’t program in Java due to sheer lack of experience.
I still think someone should build an extension that allows drag and drop mapping to input fields or maybe something like this for Box.net…. god I need to get on the Java thing
This is brilliant!!
There is a Firefox extension that let’s users drag files from the desktop into upload fields for Gmail. There must be something for general upload fields.
