News of a guardian attempting to cool a feverish child using the inside of a freezer does not top the stupidity of the following story. One year after an infants death, the mother was arrested and charged with aggrevated murder. Authorities believe the mother used a microwave oven.

A mother was arrested on suspicion of murdering her newborn daughter by microwaving the baby in an oven.

China Arnold, 26, was jailed Monday on a charge of aggravated murder, more than a year after she brought her dead month-old baby to a hospital. Bail was set Tuesday at $1 million.

“We have reason to believe, and we have some forensic evidence that is consistent with our belief, that a microwave oven was used in this death,” said Ken Betz, director of the Montgomery County coroner’s office.

He said the evidence included high-heat internal injuries and the absence of external burn marks on the baby, Paris Talley.

The mother is claiming that she had no idea and was stunned when authorities pressed the charges. In her defense, the mother stated that a babysitter was left with the child the night before taking the infant to the hospital the next day.

    @ Wash

its soooo wrong but I laughed too

In reality though, if this lady did indeed do what they are saying she is one sick individual… I can’t even imagine how painful it must be to have been cooked from the inside out.

You have to honestly wonder, with a mom like that, what’s worse: 30 seconds on high or 18 years of poor parenting (and the related trauma)?

The parent in me wants tic for tac though.
