OS X user playing with eBay? You need Baywatch

Not to be mistaken with the 90’s television series Baywatch, the Baywatch eBay auction tool will automate the process of tracking eBay auctions creating iCal events with custom reminders ensuring you get that last chance to bid before close.

Open an ebay auction in your browser and start Baywatch. The auction name is displayed in the main window. Click on “Yes” and all necessary info is placed into iCal. A new calendar named “Baywatch” will be created and the auction (as well as all future auctions) will be entered as a new event with a reminder alarm. You can display the eBay auction in your browser by clicking the URL in the event information.

No more excuses if you’re on the OS X platform. iCal reminders for closing auctions? Sounds like gravy to me! Now to find excuses to bid on items just to toy with this newfound convenience.
