Collaborative text editing on Windows

Sadly, up until now, Windows users were left out of the fun of collaborative test editing. Fortunately, Windows users can take ‘e – The Collaborative Text Editor’ out for a spin. The Windows (beta) application allows users to share and edit in real time with other ‘e’ users over a local network including the option for version control. Not too shabby as I have often wondered where and when the Windows equivalent of SubEthaEdit would be developed.
Sadly, there are no current desktop applications solutions which will allow both Windows and OS X users to edit and share text files. For now, cross-editing on both operating systems will be limited to web based services like Google Docs.

Yeah, Moonedit is awesome. Haven’t tried this ‘e thing, though.
If it works on UNIX there shouldnt be much of a problem porting it to OS X (with X11 may be) … So that would be the editor for everybody (including linux)?
