Call me a techie, but isn't it sort of silly to go buy something that only does music, and still spend $250 to $400. I have a ipaq, that I can stream internet radio to. I'm not stuck listening to the infinite number of songs that I can put on an endless supply of dirt cheap SD Cards, no, even though I've had as many as 30 full cd's of music, and 3 full length dvd movies all on one SD card I still seem to find it necessary to listen to internet radio, for free. I can play dang near any type of video that I want to, albeit with some conversion. I can program the thing to turn on any infra red device, (TV, DVD PLAYER, XBOX 360, VCR, TUNER, ALL OF THE TV"S AT WALMART). oh, but that''s not all. I can bluetooth or Wi-Fi any file that I want to to anywhere I want to, without limitations, without DRM, etc. For that matter, i downloaded a halo3 screenshot on to my iPAQ while I was taking a crap, and then bluetoothed it to my phone, and set it as the wallpaper. Oh yeah, I almost forgot all of the things I actually bought it for, like editing documents in native office format, or viewing pdf's of some random schematic. or as an alarm clock, or a date book, or a contact list, or to handle all of my email from the last 4 years.
So my point is this, why the hell would any of you buy something that's loaded with DRM and limitations, when you can do all of that and a whole lot more with a comparable priced PDA. It just seems like a waste of money to me. P.S. 4 GB cards are less than $90, and I've never even filled up my 2 GB.

I went and saw one at a Best Buy yesterday. My first impression, poor design, it's quite ugly. Second, the screen is poor. Come no were close to the ipod. And while the thing is rated as being heavier then the ipod, it feels like a light piece of crap in your hand.

Plus the fake scroll wheel that is just a d-pad, booooo!

@David,

"In the meantime, we MAC users can concentrate on the finer things"

Is this a video of those finer things?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXH2IDc67Bs&NR

As a user of many different system environments (Mac included), and a fanboy of no one, I can honestly say that all tech companies falter from time to time. Nobody's perect. However, when said company happens to be the largest/most powerful of it's kind, it does stick out like a sore thumb.

Brandon above may not like MACs, but he has to deal with a bazillion viruses, haha. In the meantime, we MAC users can concentrate on the finer things. Microsoft used to laugh at Apple and its iPods too, but look what they just launched...
Zuma, yeah who needs it, they're about 5 years too late and will probably not gain more than let's say 5% of the iPod market???

And what? Even now, Apples OS suffers from the bulk of compatibility issues with other products, you guys can laugh all you want but in the end Apple will still have less than 5% of the PC market and Microsoft and Windows will continue to be one of the most successful business' of all time.

Fuck cutsey Macs....
