Uh, Oh. Vista now on the file sharing networks
This post was published 3 years 3 months 27 days ago which may make its actuality or expire date not be valid anymore. This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding.
Not only has it been released on file sharing networks, but also hacked so it doesn’t need a registration key.
Therefore, that means you can also choose to install Vista without a key by selecting Next during the cd-key prompt during Setup without entering a key, then pressing No for the popup window.
We all know how Vista plans to take full advantage of the Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA program), so I am sure that any system that pings the WGA servers between now and January gets blacklisted by Microsoft.
I was advised not to link to the file, because of the DMCA, but you can find it on your favorite torrent website.
It’s probably already blacklisted as I type this. MS will jump all over that.
However, as soon as Autopatcher or a similar app supports Vista, why would being blacklisted matter.
If I really need to enjoy a great Vista…
… I’ll ask my girlfriend to take her top off. ( : P)
When I do take the plunge to BG’s newest money spinner, I’ll grab lotza RAM so I can take advantage of the aesthetically pleasant interface and ensure I have an Authentic White-listed Multi-Licence EDUCATION Version.
My EDU copies of O2K3 and XP-P have been faultless for multiple installs over the past years.
Do remember that many planned features and core things never made it to Vista.
Remember too, that XP was released 5, almost 6 years ago.
Even IE6 was back in 2001 (I believe, but may be wrong).
Any predictions on when G..gle will offer an advert-supported OS? : P
BTW… Nice web-site, U-E S !

Sweet…can’t wait to go home and wait 3 years for the Torrent to download.
Let’s wait for my (pseudo)friends to get excited about this… Happily i left that Windows world a year ago =)
QUESTION: so what exactly would i be missing if I downloaded this and had ZoneAlarm or something runnning all the time??
Would I only miss Microsoft’s shitty updates every month and still be able to run VISTA?
Kinda missing some info here: Vista does not require a key to install, regardless if it’s “hacked” or not. You can skip the key part, and choose which version to install. The only issue comes later when *activating* (30 day limit, I believe). Then you have to have a valid key and have installed the correct version. I have no clue what happens if you installed the wrong one ;-)
my arseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Vista has been on Torrent web sites for a while, I should know since I have just about everyone of them. Also. I’ve never had to enter a cd key to install, So this is not news, please no offense, I’m just saying
