Well, it’s real that something that looked like shit just shot from her butt-region and clouded the tub. A+ to the camera man for keeping that rolling. From the perspective of a videographer, it’s good form to “roll red” as some of us refer to it when recording more than necessary at times. It can kill your editor all the same, but you’ll miss all kinds of moments, for better or worse if you kill capture and only record during “we’re rolling” moments.
I’m usually skeptical about unusual things “caught” on tape, but this one seems like the real poop to me.
Looks real, that or the editor did a really good job because the water changes the color of her leg when it splashes onto her and then changes her skin color just slightly by staying that color after the splash has gone down.
Probably had really bad diarrhea that day, which is also why she probably stood up to try and clench her ass together to stop it… but she was too late.
I think I just shat myself.
Fake… it spreads far too quickly. Whether it be blood or shit… far too fast.

Not only does it spread too quickly, but it speads in a perfect sphere, even when it’s agitated when they get out.
I don’t know. I was a film major in college. It’s awfully suspicious, especially how quickly it spreads and how fake it looks in the water. It just doesn’t spread right.
Also, I don’t buy the reactions of the other three people in the hot tub. Why does the guy take a second glance after he’s resolved to get out of the tub? Why do the two girls look like they’re laughing?

I see what you mean about the spread, Thomas, but on the other hand, it’s a hot tub, she might have hit a jet just right. As far as the reactions, I buy the guy’s reaction as a genuine double-take. Ms. Crapper indicates that she’s eager to get out, and the other girls might have already discussed what ails her before the camera rolls (if she had said that she “hoped that she didn’t crap the tub,” I know I would laugh when she did).
By the way, Thomas, what class did you take in film school that demonstrated the fluid dynamics of violently erupting diarrhea? That seems like a really specific thing to study, perhaps you could post a link to other clips so that we non-majors could compare them to this?

I say its real, the sides of the hot tub change colors and so does her leg, also if it was diarrhea, she was out of the water and it would take some time to spread since the she didn’t really move that much. and i think the guy was taking a second look because he couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

As a one-time news and later a low budget commercial editor, there are a few things that are foul here, besides the obvious.
Notice how the “oval of color” flys out quickly and then lingers?
This is too nasty to disgust, but I think…strongly think they were shooting something else and then shot this to have fun with.
Maybe I’m wrong… look at the edge of the color though…. it should dissappate at the edges faster… fluids and physics is all I am saying

After a careful impartial review I have come to the conclusion it’s a clever fake. All the reasons given above are good ones but the telltale fakery is that it spreads as quickly in front of her leg that would be blocking the blast as it does behind. That is, unusually fast, then it stops spreading suddenly. That would be against the laws of physics folks, and its a simple matter to add a brown to each frame in an 18 second lo res clip. Sorry to blow the sh*t out of your collective bubbles. :)
I saw this for the first time yesterday and have been trying to find out if it was for real. This is the clearest site that I’ve seen it on — the YouTube ones are too grainy. There is NO CHANCE IN HELL that this is real. If you’re watching the “poop” you’re watching the wrong thing… watch the reaction of the black girl, sitting closer to her. She reacts to the ‘poop’ before it even appears in the water.and is already making a move to get out. But all the other comments about the poop hovering also give it away. The girl is covering her face and trying not to laugh…
Roger – that was the funniest comment I have ever read anywhere ever.
I can’t see anything fake about this. The black girl is NOT responding to the shit itself. She’s responding to the girl suddenly standing up in the pool as if something is wrong.
This also doesn’t violate any laws of physics. True, the poop moved really fast at first, then almost stopped, but that makes sense. Why? Because 1) it was very concentrated at first, and less concentrated after a while, 2) she was pumping more poop out at first, then stopped pumping, and 3) the poop is not soluble in water, it’s a suspension. If you are familiar with diffusion mechanics you should know that suspensions don’t diffuse as evenly as soluble things. This video abides by every law of physics that I’m aware of.
Think of about it this way: if they are willing to take all that effort to make a prank, then why didn’t they fix such small “mistakes” that are EASY to fix? It’s very easy to dub the poop in half a second earlier to make it look more “realistic,” so why didn’t they do it if it’s such a tiny effort compared to the effort needed to pull off this prank?
