This one gets filed under the just plain strange. The Alarm coffin certainly lives up to its name, by sounding an alarm if the deceased placed inside, is not well, deceased. The casket is outfitted with alarm buttons for those buried alive by mistake. The victim can push the button to raise the alarm at a control panel in the office of a cemetery caretaker.

The price is not yet known, but I’m dying to find out :P

This invention has been around forever. I remember reading somewhere about a rope and bell system in the 1800’s that the “deceased” could pull if they weren’t

Yeh. Yeh-I have seen something like this before. I am sure this is a dead ringer.

Now, that would be a great gift for a contest. What would really suck is to need it…and find out the batteries died on the alarm…Does it count if no one is around to hear the alarm…

Unfortunately I am not doing a Coffin alarm contest!
