The wildly popular and easy to use MacOS BitTorrent client has been updated to version 0.7, and this is not a small upgrade.

The my favorite new beta features are:

  • Speed Limit Mode: You can now better throttle the bandwidth that the application uses, and schedule when these throttles take place.
  • Watch Folder: If enabled, Transmission will sense any .torrent files downloaded to a specific folder, and then begin downloading them.
  • New Icon: Gone are the blue gears. Now Transmission sports a new ‘throttle’ icon.

The list of features, just goes on – but all that really matters is that you download it.

Am I the only one who can’t find a download for the 0.7 version on that page?

That’s because its not an official release, it’s simply a beta. I feel that this should have been mentioned here on uneasy.
