		<description>Haven&#039;t tried this, but I had success just burning my downloads to a CD, and then reimporting them, within iTunes, when I needed them in a non-protected format.  This is a cool idea, though.</description>

		<description>Yay, this re-encodes the music file.  This can be done with any number of audio programs out there, by redirecting the audio output from iTunes.

Things in the past such as JHymn, and currently myFairTunes and QTFairTunes are great because they don&#039;t have to re-encode the data at all.</description>
