IMAP can be inconsistent at times. Sometimes – depending on the method that I’m using to access mail – sent messages, trash, or drafts are not synced throughout (even if all are set to save to the server).

Because they are familiar with POP works, People tend to choose the system they know Kyle.

I use IMAP. I don’t know why anyone would use POP if IMAP is available.

So does the webmail interface pull email from your local install of Mail? – IMAP and POP accounts configured locally mirrored online? That would rock if that’s the case.
