dead.licious – del.icio.us bookmark cleaner

Since I rely heavily on del.icio.us for my bookmarking needs, I couldn’t contain my enthusiasm for an application aimed at alleviating the problem of dead links. While my interests in topics rarely wanes, oftentimes sites drop from existence without warning leaving “dead” links in the collection. The best way to clean your bookmarks was to manually check links from time-to-time. Ridiculously inconvenient and time consuming.

Thankfully OS X users have a little utility known as dead.licious [via] which will scan your library for dead links and offer an option to trash the links. A great utility. Unfortunately, no Windows alternative as far as I know. Does anyone have an solutions for Windows?
