In mother Russia… Music is free: AllofMP3 goes free
This post was published 3 years 5 months 3 days ago which may make its actuality or expire date not be valid anymore. This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding. We love AllofMP3, it is no secret. We love it even more that it is free. I bet someone in the RIAA just blew a blood vessel.
AllofMP3.com have introduced a custom made desktop music player, called ‘Music for the Masses’ (Clever!), to play tracks downloaded free of charge from Allofmp3.com.
Now there is a catch, you must be connected to the internet and have a valid allofmp3 login name and password to play these tracks. Sooooooo what?! I’m sure it is only a matter of days until somebody cracks the DRM.
(By the way does anyone see the irony of a borderline illegal company using DRM?)
For all of you out there concerned about spyware, I honestly think we can trust AllofMP3 on this one, but be sure you have a spyware scanner on none the less.
I give it about 18 hours. Give or take a couple hours.
Anyone want to ask DVD Jon for me?
You’re an idiot. Did you even bother to read up about their service? They’re not going to be shut down anytime soon, unless it’s for personal reasons.
What is DRM. How is it when it is cracked and how does it benifit some one using a cracked versioN?
jimbo, who and what are you referring too?
Who said anything about being shutdown?
jimbo, you’re an idiot if you’re referring to Matthew’s comment. He’s not saying it’ll be 18 hours until its shutdown, but rather 18 hours until the DRM is cracked. (hence the reference to DVD Jon)
This is pretty decent.. but for 128kbps currently uncracked DRMed files, I’d rather pay $5 a month to Yahoo and get about the same thing but at 192kbps and with a cracked DRM. (FairUse4WM)
