durabooks.jpgE-paper, e-readers and e-books, blah blah blah. They won’t do you any good at the pool, will they? Matter of fact your your pulp fiction novel won’t stand up to the water so well either.

Enter DuraBooks. They were developed by Melcher Media Inc. are actually from plastic resins which is completely waterproof.

But for all the good there is bad. DuraBooks are quite a bit heavier than traditional paper books, which will probably prevent them from catching on.

But then again, how often can you read 40,000 Leagues Under the Sea, actually 40,000 leagues under the sea?
